Install time question

    6" Fabtech coilover lift. 35/12.50/17 Mickey Thompson MTZ, 17x9 ProComp 1089 wheels painted black, UWS black lowprofile toolbox, husky liners, tacoma bed mat, bed lights, Premier stereo, Cobra 19 cb, firestik 3' antenna.
    Workin and goin to school.... and a lot of huntin makes it hard to find time to install anything. Anyways what I was plannin on doing is the bilstein 5100s up front and back. I was just curious of an average install time for someone with average mechanical skills. I think this lift will be good enough for what I do.

    I had a '99 Xtra Cab PreRunner SR5 V6
    Rears are a pretty simple install, I'd say no more than 20 minutes. The fronts are another story though. You'll need spring compressors to get the old shocks out as well as putting the new ones in. If you've never used them before I say take them to a mechanic and have them install the spring onto the shock for you. The compressors are a dangerous tool if you've never used them before, so don't take that chance of loosing a finger, an eye, a limb or even your life.

    Yeah I have used a compressor before installing a lowering kit on a girls sentra:rolleyes:... but I got paid so whatever. I just never have messed with truck suspension much
