well, doing the throw out is peace of mind so I don't have to drive around wondering if it's gonna seize up and make it a PITA to shift. The clutch is just a little extra. It only has like 40k mi on it though :boom:

Yesterday I decided to play it safe and spend another night at home instead of driving on the total of 4 hours of sleep I’ve gotten since Thursday night.

I think I made the right decision.

I would’ve never thought of that. I’ll have to report that to maintenance.

Its essentially one giant inductor so too much heat over time will make it crack.

That is some scary stuff. I’ve always had gas ranges in my life so this induction one is new to me.

How did you end up fixing your range? New coil?

Just went to an appliance repair shop and got the part. Mine was inside the oven. When I get a place of my own, I want gas. Id rather have a pilot light than an electric oven.

I agree, I’d totally prefer a gas range. I cook a lot, and I miss my Wolf burners and oven at home.

I gotta fix that thing. None of the electric ignitors work anymore. Have to start it with a lighter.

But it’s a Wolf appliance so of course parts are impossible to find. The hood too, control panel is hanging on with scotch tape.

Why would I hire him when I can force him to work and not give him water?

When we my grandfather was alive, he took us target shooting on Christmas morning one year right off the side of the Missouri interstate because all the shooting ranges were closed. We parked off the highway and hiked down the ravine maybe 5 minutes. Try doing that in California lol

mine chirps like a motherfucker most days, but it's been doing it for over 40k miles now so I just ignore it for the most part. Sometimes it goes away on it's own but only when it's colder out.

You should see the shitshow on Nextdoor of people in my neighborhood who call the cops because of the duck hunters in the marsh in front of my house.

San Francisco allows duck hunting to happen in a residential zone? wtf?

this is the city that banned Pit Bulls because they 'look mean' that we're talking about right

Electric isn’t so bad. It’s just heat transfer is a lot less efficient than a flame.

    Where you traveling?
