What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Not a biggie but got my vinyl tailgate inserts from @beyond wraps installed

 

Got it off the classifieds section here at TW. Overall it was pretty easy. No real complaints or problems. My brother helped out so a extra pair of hands helped a lot with lining it up

 

I don't have the brake lights. I have their side markers and reverse lights.

I want to get their front turn signals and brake lights but I'm waiting to see what they come up with for rear turn signals. I've read that you get hyperflashing with LED turns in front and rear together, so I'm waiting for a solution that doesn't require resistors.

 

I got mine, but haven't put them on yet. Looks good on the blue!

 

No budget to get some kings so I got this babies,they will be installed today, I cant wait to see how it rides with those

 

Installed my first mod on the Tacoma. The 12volt solutions remote start, it took 17 minutes to install.

 

These area bit pricey but you don't need to use external resistors.

Private party maybe, dealer, absolutely.
Mods can add value in private sale if they like what you did and everything is done well. Anything outside of that and it can subtract.

 

Most likely private... Never had good experiences with a dealer. Low balled me almost 9 grand on my last vehicle.

 

Better choice in my view but some don’t like to deal with it (patience is a virtue) or owe on a car and aren’t sure how to do a private sale in that situation. What mods?

 

Nothing crazy. New grill w/ built in lightbar - thats the big one as it cost me about $800 installed my self, bunch of Meso stuff (lights, auto etc, interior roof rack). With the Meso stuff, I could probably get a good portion of what was spent back through the BST here, eh?

Oh, hell no. Too much work and one would have had to have kept all the original parts around. I know some people do this, but I've got too much crap as it is. (There's going to be a SERIOUS spring cleaning this year.)

I would say so, plus people seem to be giving away their stock grill already. Hell I did. I might actually still have the stock turn signals if you need them. Just need to make sure they survived the organization of the garage.
