Oh those are always fun. You’re welcome to wrench as well if you like. It’ll be an all day ordeal.

So far so good. I was not able to do any night testing yet. Wife was out running some errands Saturday morning after I got home from the gym and had a limited window to uninstall the old bar and get this one done before party prep for this coming weekend commenced and I was otherwise indisposed the rest of the weekend. No bench testing or night shots happened. I will try and work something out where I can have a "remote" bench test with the Amazon bar on a drill battery and the Lightforce bar on the truck and to get some night shot comparisons too. Wish I had a drone for some overhead, beam pattern shots as well.

Ummmmm sounds like to me she is just trying to move her emotions elsewhere so that when the inevitable happens she isn't heartbroken. When she asked you about being a couple and you said no that was probably the point where she wanted to try and not be emotionally tied to you anymore. Also trying to get you to be the one to "give up" so that it's a clean break for her so to speak.

Hate it for ya bud but there are plenty of fish in the sea.
Yeah that's some low blow stuff

Yea I was thinking about that. I think she does want me to be the bad guy to let her off the hook. I dont think shes trying to be malicious about it though. The word choices she uses though are exceptionally awful.

I have a feeling my subconscious is going to give me a swift emotional kick in the dick here soon.

Thanks brobeans. I think I might actually have to put some rational thought into this situation. It definitely turned into something else that I wasnt planning on.

Just ordered some Bosch Icon's on Amazon. They were way cheaper than the local auto parts store. Hopefully they live up to the hype!

I think it turned into something more than what either of you really were expecting and then some deeper emotions are tied up know. I wouldn't go being dickish but I think you and her need to sit down and be adults. You definitely were excited when ya'll went and did shit together.

I love them and I am not nice to wiper blades, gritty mud, clearing icy windshield, the nasty tree crap that falls all over our vehicles here in the SE.

I would personally focus on the less expensive things first. a lift kit wont get you more mileage out of the truck. tires are pretty important for safety reasons, but if you plan on lifting and going a little bigger, I would try to make them last until spring. do lift tires and LCA stuff at once. IF your alignment is good right now and you don't plan on going with bigger tires, then it cant hurt to get those now. I would do service things first. focus on the diffs, spark plugs and like randy said, MAF and TB.

The drain plug on my front diff was seized as well, while the truck was on jack stands I put a breaker bar on the drain plug and used a jack to jack up on the handle of the breaker bar while hammering on the diff under the plug with a BFH. after lifting the truck an inch and moving the breaker bar a good 6" it broke free hahaha

How did you keep the hex in the plug while you did all of that?

it was tight enough that it stayed. but I also maybe, could have, possibly had a friend helping me :anonymous: but really tho, if u hold the HEX in while slowly adding tension with jack, once tension is on the breaker bar it should stay in there, one hand jacks and the other hammers.

Heating up the plug with a torch for a few min, and then allowing it to cool completely should expand/shrink it just enough to break free the rust holding it in there
