Is there a Bushing for the j-shifter too? Or is that just for manuals.

Never heard of anyone replacing it. If your j shift stick is shaking, it may be time for a tranny mount.

 

I did this walking food tour of San Francisco once where we tried these weird and unique restaurants.

I had Pastrami Chow Mein once. It was good.

 

It shakes on start up (which I believe is normal) and it moves with acceleration. For example, when I accelerate onto a highway it moves forward and recedes when I let off the accelerator.

I guess that’s why my truck vibrates like a Hitachi Magic Wand at idle.

 

Totally normal. My sticks shake at start up. Get it moving and they balance themselves out.

 

Is the acceleration thing normal?

My shaky idle is annoying. Wonder if it’s the engine or tranny mount.

Chicago ain't that bad. I've driven there too but only for 4 days.

 

Shaky acceleration? Sounds like some post lift driveline vibes. Time for axle shims. These trucks shake at idle. My 92 is exceptionally bad, but its engine mounts could be going out. My truck shakes some too but I know it's normal.

 

There are 3 different ones on that website, 2 I think for the manuals and 1 for the transfer case shifters...there's a list there of each application it works for

 

Been waiting over 6 months for these to get back in stock locally & on sale. Not bad for $25 OTD for the made in USA ones, their India made ones cost more. Now to score me a 31" or 36" to complete the set before Sears goes out of business.

 

Could just be that you have a 4cyl haha. They shake, if the engine mounts go out they get a lot worse. Mine with almost solid mounts feels less shaky than it did with bouncy rubber mounts

 

Single best black Friday purchse Ive ever made. Bought them years ago before I even had a vehicle. My dad nagged me for buying tools when I didnt need them, but Im glad I did.

 

I've been kicking myself ever since I didn't purchase them when my local sears had lots of them in stock. But whatever, I've had a cheap HF set that has seved me well for years. I've never broke a pry bar in my lifetime even working at the shop and I certainly don't need them but for $25 too good to pass up.
