The first knife is a custom knife I had made, I found a knife maker on IG and sent him some files that my grandfather (A Pearl Harbor Survivor) left me when he passed away. I had knives made for me, my dad, brother and nephew. 3CF71720-6107-447A-A841-418F79205E09.jpg92C85FD4-7F52-479F-B04A-D4B71777A54A.jpg EFB14F2F-E428-468F-B608-0484F5B50470.jpg34597E0B-23AB-4332-9A06-EE0A55811A1D.jpg

A man after my own heart. I've got the exact same knife (well, actually, a couple of them! :D ) I think it might be the one I'd keep if I could keep no others, and I have a lot of knives. Pick it up and it feels like... a perfect knife.

Need a little help... I've carried a bench made mini-grip for 4 years and have loved every minute of them. I happened upon a spyderco paramilitary 2 and it has given me the itch. It looks like it is too big for edc, but my buddy swears it carries very small for its size. The Para 3 might be the ticket, but it's really not that much smaller. Is the upgrade in the steel worth the $40? S30 up to S110V? I don't work in an office anymore so the "big mean knife" doesn't apply anymore. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

I won this in a random drawing from the Kahr Firearms Group on Instagram. It's a QTRMSTR QTR5ZTT. You could select from any of the Kahr owned company logos - Kahr, Desert Eagle or Thompson. Since I own two Thompsons - a WWII style M1A1 and a Thompson AR Pistol, I went with the Thompson loge. If anyone is interested, I'll post close-ups.

I considered the Para 3 and ended up buying the PM2. I have been EDC’ing for over a year now and have never looked back. The size has never been an issue for me at all, and is very beneficial when using the knife.

I have no experience with S30, but I have been thrilled with the S110. Sharpens without too much trouble on my Spyderco Sharpmaker and holds an edge forever.

Well I ordered a paramilitary 2 in s110v. I'm a little nervous on the s110 vs the s30 but I don't do horrible things to expensive knives. I'll post pics when it comes but it is the "blurple" g10 handles. Santa will have to wrap it so I have to wait until Christmas.

You all liking the Spyderco Salt water Series? I’m thinking of getting the Aqua Salt in full Serration blade. For surf fishing.

Most of them have yellow handles & full serrated blades but not all. They all use H1 for the blade steel, supposed to be more resistant to salt walter corrosion than more common blade steels.

Had this for a few months, blade is still damn sharp. It’s a fun adult fidget spinner, after using it for a while, I do wish i would’ve gotten a drop point or Bowie style blade. The wharncliffe has its benefits but it’s not as useful generally.

Same here & is why I never bought one. I'm sure they're great if you need something like that though.
