    Eventually I'll opt for the Orange 24 1/4 reach one. Some day....

    Yup that 3 ton long reach one was the other one I was considering. Love the rapid foot pump it has too. The yellow one is already long enough for me & I'm very limited on space in my garage. I went with the yellow one cause it was a bit shorter & is beefier. But the long reach orange one should be beefy enough too though.

    I remember watching this video before buying my HF floor jack and just rewatched it after buying one. One thing mentioned on this video is that HF floor jacks are known for being low on Hydraulic oil, so I will be performing this maintenance to mine, but not sure if the Daytona is exactly the same as the jack in this video.

    My yellow one wasn't low on fluid at all. They say you should always bleed the air out when you get a new jack. The instruction sheet for the Daytona actually mentioned this too. First thing I did was check the fluid level & bleed it. Mine didn't even need bleeding. All the zerks were fully greased. Even the box & packaging was very nice. I was really shocked! Seems like their trying to up their quality some with all their new product lines. But we will always have that thought in our heads that HF is usually junk. The yellow Daytona is the frst time ever that I got something from HF & actually have no complaints about it whatsoever or didn't need to tweak/modify/fix.

    I was kind of hoping my jack had the grease fitting like shown in the video but did not, it was the same feeling I got when not seeing grease fittings for the front wheel bearings in my Tacoma like my previous truck had. :(

    Not sure if the orange Daytona ones do but the yellow one has zerks for all the pivoting parts. Even the wheels have zerks on them which surprised me.

    That really is a quality jack you have, when I see zerk fittings on something it makes me happy with the longevity it will have with maintenance. I really wish my Tacoma had grease fitting too but seems like they want you to replace rather than maintain.

    Yeah it is nice, I'm still shocked that it's from HF everytime I use it. Lol

    Most modern vehicles these days don't have serviceable (greasable) wheel bearings cause they use sealed bearings. Gone are the days where you need to pack your own wheel bearings with grease.

    Yup, exactly why I got a new jack, too short for my truck without using wood and had to use homemade wood ramps to use for my old cars that were slammed.

    It served me well though & still works fine. That's the second jack I have ever owned, bought it when I was 18 in 1996.

    You won't regret it, I love mine. All my life I have been using wood to help jack up my vehicles, still feels weird to not have to use any anymore. Lol

    Check out my builds! ----->
    Is there any major benefit to the yellow "Super Duty" Daytona jack over the orange low profile long reach one? I'm mainly concerned about height but according to HF's website the orange one lifts about an inch higher. Curious what the extra $20 get someone

    For our trucks no. The orange long reach one is a bit longer than the yellow but both weigh the same cause the yellow one is beefier. Less likely for the yellow one to twist if on uneven pavement or if you're using the jack to swing/move the vehicle around. But then again you not "supposed" to be doing any of that kind of stuff anyway. ;)

    I hear the hydraulic cylinders might be of different quality/type but I have no idea about that.
