You always knew he was getting ready to tear into the ump when he’d walk out and throw his gum on the ground

I may try and make it. I'll just get home late and 3:45 comes early next day. Busy week also headed to VT for graduation. As long as finals go well after Friday both girls graduated from college.

I’ll be there, IN MY TRUCK :bananadance: donned a headlamp and some warm clothes and just spent the last 4 hours in my driveway getting these hammer hangers on. Driving to the meet will be the first test drive.

So what exactly is the difference between them and a regular shackle flip?

A shackle flip is just as it sounds, it flips the shackle opposite of how it comes from the factory. It allows more droop but can also wear out leafs prematurely if you don’t set up bump stops correctly. Also I don’t think it rides quite as nice, but I’m unsure on that one.

The hammer hanger is a beefy replacement that sits back and lower a little bit and allows a little more travel than stock. It also makes the rear end ride much nicer because it allows the suspension to act as it should, taking away any movement from the rear hangers.

I managed to bend my stock leaf spring hanger which is what prompted me buying these.

Nice....did you end up getting any lift out of it ? I ask because that is one of the reasons I went with shackle flip. BAMF said there hammer hanger didnt provide any lift. I was looking to fix a few issues. One of which was drive line vibes. I have had them since removing my aal with a 3 degree shim and switching to all pro expos. I did a washer stack cb drop but that didnt help. The shackle flip fixed it right away but causes a few other issues. Mostly fixed by reducing the lift a little by switching the upper hanger mounting location.

Honestly I didn’t measure because it’s cold as hell out. I think Eric tweaked the design so at the very most you’d be getting 1/2” of lift which isn’t really noticeable, at least not to me. Plus I wouldn’t mind more lift, I love a little rake.

Edit: also my driveway is very unlevel. I’ll be able to tell better tomorrow when I’m on level ground at the dinner parking lot.

It was all fun and TITS until the power went out. I did get a free PTO day out of it.
