Also this probably sounds stupid (especially since I have a SM) but I’ve never been able to wheelie. Many years riding but my only focus was to get better in canyons.

I think this winter I’m going to focus on wheelies. I tried reving up a bit and then half dumping the clutch just to see what it was like. I feel like this is going to be a long road.

Wheelies on SM’s are easier than street bikes imo.

 im still not very good. but that bike should do it without an issue even just rolling on the throttle 1-3 gear. to do a clutch up its more of a throttle twist and flick the clutch at the same time. not a dump
    agreed. way easier

I wish I was better at that. I don’t need to drag my hand but I suuuck once that hand comes off the bars. I’ve tried some drills here and there riding on handed. No chance leaned over like that though.

Just gotta lock your lower body on the bike with your legs. I lock my outside leg. If you can do that you can be super light on the bars(best way to corner)

It’s a great bike, It has 30k hard miles and I’ve literally only put a battery in it and had the front forks seal done.

Watch lots of youtube video totorials before you even leave the house. Wear lots of gear. And be prepared to fuck up. Everyone does.

Other than that, have any questions, just ask ;) in a PM because otherwise will likely make us have motorcycle BS thread 3.0
