kibbe quoted me 6k for the cage on my double cab, honestly didnt think that was too bad for the work he does on cages.

I did the same research. Found a cheaper one but they were still close to 30 each. If I remember. I have it saved at home in my bookmarks.

 

12 point airframe bolts are pricey. Mainly because they have such stringent controls for manufacture. There is also the low volume penalty of buying 1. We like to sell them in 500 lots.

 

while both have hot g/fs. Gotta lean to SMP for the win.

 

How complicated of a cage was he doing for 6K?

That seems cheap especially for all tig. I wonder in what time frame it would actually get done for that price.

 

Well he wasn’t going to even have room to take the truck til February and then he said it would likely be an additional 3 months to complete

 

Are the UCA bolts the same as the lower? @jqueener

 

I'm not sure. Hsvnt looked at them yet. But I think they're smaller. I just used camburgs parts list to source the one bolt, then found a cheaper one with as close to the same specs. I think the one I bought maybe to short. It's a 1/2" shorter than the pic Ryan posted.

what locking bolts/nuts do you guy use for your shocks? so no one can steal them?

Is that a thing? I can't say I've ever heard of someone getting JUST the LT stolen. Whole truck sure, but just the coils?
