I can still out drink my coworkers ten years younger than me, but usually only the first night. I dontd recover anywhere near as fast as I did when I was in my early 20's. I definitely can't drink in excess like that for more than a night or two in a row. It's just the price I know I'll pay now if I decide to stay out all night being an idiot.

It’s probably catching up to you. Sounds ridiculous... but a “vegan” cleanse for two weeks will help reset your body. I do it 4x a year and it keeps my body receptive to exercise and makes me eat better... for about two months.

I eat fruits/veggies/beans/rice and water. A lot of the toxins stuck in your visceral fats flush out and your metabolism starts to work on digesting your foods better. Direct correlation: that helps process alcohol - slows down metabolism and is tough on the digestive tract.

Essentially: junk in = junk out.

Are you drinking craft beer? That's all most people drink and I think 3 would give anyone a hangover because they are richer. Switch to light beer, you'll be fine in the morning.

Yep, a lot of big stouts too, but normally only 12 ounces or so maximum.

I have learned that if I hydrate with water before or during and stay away from the sugary drinks I don't really get any hangover if one at all...

I truly envy you man, the last few times I did drink I drank water before, during and after every beer. Still dying the following day.

I think it's the heavy stuff you're drinking. I can drink about a dozen light beers and be fine but if I drink a bottle of wine not as fine.

I get gnarly headaches from one glass of wine. I think it’s the tannins, but I haven’t experimented

I find mixing alcohol drinks does it too. I’ll have a few beers and a sip of wine and insta hangover. Bleh. All beer for me.

    And whiskey sometimes.

You can filter those out. My neighbors have a filter for wine and swear by it not giving them headaches like wine did before.

Thinking about moving from my kid truck (taco) to a full size. Save payment and insurance. Love my taco but can’t shake the full size itch as I get older.

HAHA I understand... I wasn't much of a wine drinker but my wife has got me drinking more of it. Still not my go to but I enjoy a glass of red wine a couple times a week.

I did the opposite and came from a full size. Both have their pros and cons, but for me I liked the smaller size for ease of parking, getting the touring kayaks on and off the roof and not having to worry, as much, about making contact between my fender and a tree. Do miss some things about a full size but the Taco was a better fit for what I do with my truck
