Creative, for business advertisement I suppose. It's originally a military diesel k5 blazer. The firebird body has a cross tube base that has been welded to the blazer frame.

 

Test fit the new tires. Need to get wheel spacers. Front bumper is next to get swapped out. Then I have to do something with the rear, don’t think the tire would fit as is right now.

I see most people with RTTs have gone with Tepui. Are people overall happy with their choice? Looking at purchasing one in the coming spring and haven't started the research too much.

 

That looks pretty good. But I don’t think I could spend money on a rooftop tent Haha. I just sleep in my bed with a sleeping bag haha.

 

I am looking for rims 17” . My stock aluminums have oxidation on them

 

I wish you was looking for 16 inch rims. I have a set of 16 inch TRD off-road rims and BFG Ko2 for sale haha. From my 17 tacoma

The tent I have is a Tepui Autana 3. So far I like it, setup is simple (sucks being short but I manage) and it has held up pretty good over the years (I bought it used). Possibly after this season I might take it off for a month to do some repairs inside the house on it. I need to reseal all the seams just as a pre-caution. The annex though - as much as I like it, it sucks for keeping rain out - although I haven't had a chance to test it since I re-waterproofed it with NikWax. We'll find out soon though.

Would you be interested in selling just the tires? I’m going to be going up to a 17 inch rim and I’m looking for the same size tires. How much thread do they have on them? If they’re practically like new, and you want to sell just the tires, I would pay cash

 

Good to know! I was eyeballing your tent at the meet on Sunday. I will likely look for a used tent as well since it will be my first RTT and I am not completely sold on the idea.

 

I did my belt a few weeks ago...I put the spare one in the little bed bin for a just in case...Of course you need a ratchet or box end for the tensioner....That's hilarious that you were able to drive without the water pump...that's winter driving for you.
