    For a jeep Dana 300, twin sticks let you have front 2wd only for fun front digs/donuts :)

    Toyota cases are setup differently though :(

    ah gotcha, I was thinking of a crawl box yeah. So some Tacomas came from factory with twin 4x4 sticks? I thought there was just the j-shifter Tacomas and the ADD shifter Tacomas, interesting

    No, twin sticks are an after-market add on. The way the shift rail works for the jshifter is a combination action because there are actually 2 shift rails. When you shift to 4hi it engages the front output, when you shift to 4 low it keeps the front output engaged and switches to the lower gear.

    Twin sticks add one so you control each action individually if that makes more sense
