    Hidden Falls........LOL
Toyota told me it looks like the yoke has been hit and the driveshaft has scrapes on it. Couldn't really argue with them!

Found these guys, I just don't know if it's worth it to send the diff to ECGS and wait on it to get back. The shipping on that has to be through the roof.

You could also order complete members from ecgs and then send yours back as cores. That's my plan.

Dam son, wheel hard much? Hah. Did you ever put the wheels and tires on you bought from me? Id go 5.29’s if you plan on putting on 35’s in the near future. Also pics of damage?

I’d recommend this route also, they’re super knowledgeable about such matters.

Keep us posted on what they say. My buddy is needing regeared and a set of ARB’s installed.

I guess you don’t plan on driving it on the highway? 4.88’s is plenty high enough for 35’s. 5.29’s and you’ll be wrapping out those RPM’s.

I need (want) gears at some point, too.

I’d like to have the power back for this heavy truck, but I also want 2k rpm’s at 75mph, and to be able to use cruise control.

3rd gen life. 5.29's doing 75-80 still keep the rpm down under 2.5k.

Yeah our trans gearing is really high. My truck rarely goes into 6th gear with my 33's. Im in 4th gear most of the time on the highway.

    Yea!
I never touch 5th or 6th gear on the highway, always 4th gear. 13 mpg life on over here, then you have big mike running 40’s getting 18+...:annoyed:

A lot of that is the ecu trying to keep the revs down, for “efficiency”. Mine touches 5th briefly, then downshifts back into 4th for shit mpg. Pretty pointless having and almost unusable 5th/6th.

That sucks, wish I would have known before they put all that under your account. Toyota in Granbury has been very lenient, they have replaced cv boots and done free alignments etc all under warranty. The guy is cool they never say anything about aftermarket mods or anything they always take care of me.

Let's just call it my 401K.
I"ll get some pics tonight of it. Still sitting over at Toyota.

@MRBOND101 Yessir!! Love the look and size of them. They aren't great in the mud, but i'm not usually out in that stuff anyways. I'll definitely be replacing them with the same tire when these are worn out.

@SuperBad By the time I package and mail off my diffs and pay $130 each to ship back to NC it didn't make sense to go with ECGS.

@MolonLabeTaco I ordered the Nitro Gear set in 4.88's. Contemplating the ARB for the front. I just need to stomach another $grand that I wasn't expecting. I'm going to pull out the 3rd members to save some money and just take them over to the shop. I'm going to be $1900 all in with me doing the R&R.

This is where it happened on Saturday afternoon, a few of us turned the calm collected group into a rowdy group real quick.
