I’ve come to terms with the squeaking and that it will never stop. I just don’t want a catastrophic failure due to them.

Delta joints do the same thing aren't protected by a boot so constant greasing and dirt gets in there causing noise until you grease and force it out. I am not as impressed since having them a while. Also if he has BJ how do ya'll have the same UCAs

Have there been failures? I know when I put mine on they had a teeny amount of play uninstalled, but installed everything seems solid. Another reason I want to replace, just to ease my mind knowing they have an iota of play.

What’s the difference between the uniball and delta joint?

Personally I have not had a failure, but I’ve been reading about some horror stories. Plus, my recent experiences with breaking parts has got me slightly paranoid.

Delta Joint is a high angle balljoint gets the same articulation as a uniball but supposed to be less troublesome not in my experience because of the constant greasing. I like being able to easily service the joints though and not have to tear them apart that is a plus.

I thought @saundern had the uniball ICON Tubulars.

Either way, the UCA are the same, just the joint is different. I'll be dropping a Delta Joint into my current UCA in the future.

I understand that they are different, I’m just trying to figure which one would be the best to go with. From what you’re telling me, the only difference is greasing the delta joints.
    I’m currently on OEM UCAs

Yes. A delta joint is a uniball.

So for a rig that's mostly going to be st driven I would recc. a ball joint set up of some sort. Camburg, Icon, JBA, SPC (their joint isn't a high angle one), there may be more. The problem with uniballs is they aren't really serviceable until you need to replace. Guys get all over the place for mileage out of uniballs though. But from what I've seen the ball joints are lasting a lot longer before needing replaced.
