What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Yeah, they are. I just bought them from a local member last night. I had to modify them a bit to work on my truck though. The holes for the bed rail weren't low enough.

 

Put Blizzaks on powder coated winter rims.
Not really sure if I like the look but too much $$ to change them now...

Just wanted to say thanks to Landpirate for linking this mount. I had been looking everywhere for something that would work in the GoPro Mount. I installed the V1P the other day with no issues and it works great!

Sorry if this doesn't go here, but today I saw this sticker that I had not seen before. My guess is that they put it in after the last maintenance which was Friday before Turkey day. Wondering why they put it there of if it was always there and I just missed the big ass yellow sticker. Things stock beside an mbrp 3in catback exhaust.


Yeah just 36 lbs but curiosity

I've never seen that before.

 

Those sport bikes really aren’t that heavy...maybe 400lb at most. With all the weight sitting mostly in the bed, you’re looking probably 100lb at best with the rear wheel and swing arm on the tail gate.

Wet weight is about 400-425lb. No issue with tailgate bending. This is the first time I’ve loaded the bike on the truck, but I figured the tailgate should be strong enough, especially as the full weight of the bike is never on the tailgate. I use a Baxley front wheel chock, which I really recommend. My bike doesn’t have a side stand, so with the Baxley I can ride straight onto it after a track session instead of dealing with a rear stand. Baxley is pricey, but in a different league to a basic cheapo chock.

 

I just noticed this on mine too. I don't know how long it has been there, but I did just have it in the shop for service.

 

So finally remebered to take a picture today. Was half asleep going thru walmart when i picked up a can of RED plasti dip that i thought was black for my emblems. So was rather bummed until i saw a thread few days ago bout the tow hook. So figured it was a great idea esp since when i needed a pull out of mud, took me a minute to find it

 

Might want to consider a Mobtown aluminum, or better yet steel, tail gate liner just to be on the safe side.

 

I have one on my truck since i bought it, but only 12lbs. i am guessing its for the hitch, but not possitive

 

Went out and looked... 23 KG here. We probably all have them.

 

That sticker is placed there at the factory/port when accessories are added to the vehicle.

 

do you have any pictures of the underside? I like it!

 

The sticker on my access cab 2 wheel drive says capacity reduced by 2 kg or 4 pounds. To my knowledge no accessories were added to my truck. Seems to be a waste of a sticker.

 

I wonder how much the same cover would be using diamond plate aluminum. Might be worth pricing.
