It's less Tacoma and more mod
Nice, just for reference. As long as the approach angle is good a bit of stick out is good protection and those don't stick out much.

That's mine, exaggerated a bit from the wide angle lense but you get the idea. It never hangs me up

god help me I asked for some recovery boards for xmas, family member wanted to know what they could get me for my truck that was under $100. The X-Bull ones are like $98. Also asked for a Viar 400p compressor, the 88p takes me damn near a half hour to air up my tires and it's getting old

There are some mini-recovery boards on Amazon for RC cars (like 5" long) and it has terrible reviews because so many idiots complained that they thought they were for their actual trucks and were surprised by the mini size LMAO. For $15 what the hell did they expect

I'll be curious to hear your review if you get those, I'd love some recovery boards but no way I'm ever paying maxtracks prices.
I can't wait for Christmas swag for my truck

Same here, I've heard decent reviews on them and honestly I rarely ever need recovery boards - they're mostly useful in sand and mud, which I don't see a whole lot of out here. But it would still be nice to have for peace of mind since I do wheel solo quite a bit. Also they're good for leveling out the truck to set up the RTT, right now I just use rocks lol

I would love to see their reactions when getting the box and opening it up.

Somebody should 3D print plastic hi lifts for the bro crowd.. way cheaper price point and all the cool looks to ride around on your roof rack. Plus weight savings

Yeah I can see them being handy in the snow too. I'm planning on winch first so I really won't "need" them, but I can see them being nice for a quick and easy stuck so you don't have to pull cable

yeah I really need to get a winch to feel better about wheeling some of the tougher trails alone, but need to get myself a bumper first.

Luckily I already have the bumper, just gotta replace some of the hardware before I'd trust it to winch. Especially in the winter I go in the snow solo quite a bit, and I'm tired of laying under my truck digging lol
