Ok, I was on the fence about lifting. After reading all the pros & cons, I originally got over it and said what the heck JUST LIFT IT ALREADY. So I went ahead and bought an OME lift kit and TC UCA's.

I finally got a day to install lift, but something in my gut feeling just came over me not to do it. Moreover, as I continued to jack up truck and such, I pulled of the stock coilover and build up the new OME coil and shock. By this time I just got overwhelmed and bothered by it(gut feeling). I was pondering the idea of just putting everything back the way it was. A few moments later after thinking about it, I went ahead it returned back stock halfway into installing the front portion.

I'm not sure to follow through with lift install. I so wanted to do it as I got bored with having a pretty much stock Tacoma. I got to admit I already got the red ass from the poor gas mileage of these BFG A/T's, I drive alot. Not sure what to do, just continue enjoying Taco the way it is or lift. Hate to have any regrets after lifting. As mentioned, I was okay after reading and researching, but I learned to trust my gut feeling over the years. Just not sure if stock Tacoma is in my future now.

You have all of the stuff on hand, so go ahead and lift it. Keep all of the old springs, etc and if you don't like, just put the stock stuff back on. I did a small lift on my '06 this past week and I love it! Chances are that you will like your new lift as well.

You bought good quality lift products that will IMPROVE your suspension and ride quality. With your setup nothing is permanent and I think once you get it on you will love it.....

True, I learned that after modding my camaro to keep stock parts.

Yeah timing sucks, as mentioned something just bothered me enough to stop doing it.

OME kit with 885's, TSB AAL, Front Diff drop, Carrier Drop, Toytec spacer(for full 3"), axle shims. Yeah, just debating it right now what to do.

Yes sir! Can't wait to see him again. :D

    Thanks for the replies. :)

I'm trying to use my logic, not sure if it is working for me at the moment.

True can always go back. I did alot of research based on TW member experiences and went with OME.

No I had to work, but I saw Benny Benassi the night before.

Wow?! If MPG is hurting you now? Then you may want to stay with the stock set up.
You need to look at "Need" & "Want" and if you can actually afford to take on the issues that a lifted 4x4 will have.

Economy is bad right now. Don't over extend yourself.

    Good Luck man!

Its not that I can't afford the gas, even though afterwhile I do realize how much Im spending. Guess after lifting that it would be my only concern and I could resolve the other known issues. As mentioned, was getting bored just keeping it stock and been wanting to lift it for a long time now. The reason I got one in the first place is to enjoy it.

I'm at a stalemate. I will keep you guys updated on what I decide. :)

I say do it. Chances are you will like it. I ran that same setup for a while. It was an incredible lift. Rode nice too.

    Ummm...?
Take your smart ass BS elsewhere.

I would say do the lift man,
And like everyone else said, If you don't like it just return it to stock.

Good luck and be sure to post pictures if you install it!
