I hear you. Have you read Mat's blog posts recently? The fuzzy logic going on with the A/T tuning is mind boggling.

Anyway, he recently went down a new path in tuning this beast - not only changing around the values with certain maps - but actually changing the maps themselves

 

I caught a few tidbits that came up.

Big thumbs up for identifying the learning code. That alone should make a lot of AT folks really happy.

I'm sure the programming helps get MPGs when testing. I just wonder if a simpler logic that the drivers can understand would yield better driveability and similar or better real world economy? Of course, that is probably what is happening.
