The 14" long springs can take more preload without going coil bind.

The longer spring has more travel so you can add more preload before they go solid.

I told Mike at accutune I was getting a steel bumper/winch and have sliders and he still suggests sticking with the 600lb for a 2" total lift.

Adding an ARB twin compressor under the hood too now. I think that puts me at 180 pounds extra at the front not including steel sliders.

Yep I only have an aluminum front bumper with led light bar and a custom grill with another led light bar both 30" and sliders and was told I should still get 2 1/2" with stock 600 lb. springs.

Actually, yes, just took this about a month ago. The front is 650 lb/in King coils set to ride at about 23" from hub center to fender lip.

The rear is standard CS047R leafs but I've since rebuilt the rear packs to put in an extra leaf to bring the back end up a bit. I don't have an updated photo yet, though.

Are your fronts the extended travel? Did you get 3” of lift out of them?

I have extended travel, standard IFP no-reservoir shocks and I have Camburg ball joint UCAs. I have the driver side collar set about 1.5" down the body and the springs sit compressed to about 11.5" from their full 14" length. I could probably turn the collar down farther on the body if I wanted to push the front end up higher but I wasn't after 3" of lift.

Makes sense, thanks man. I’m trying for 2.5-3” all around. I want the truck level. I’ve got 2.5’s with resevoirs for the front with 650lb coils and I got 2.0’s with resevoirs for the rear with a 1” AAL. I’m running the same bumper and winch combo upfront. I’m also trying to avoid any nose dive when braking

@austin2009, as it sat in that photo it was pretty much level with a roughly 300 lbs camper on it. It squatted a bit full loaded, which is why I ended up putting the D29XL in the pack. With nothing in the bed and the camper on it sits at about 24" hub center to fender and it squats about 1/2" to 3/4" or so with my normal camping junk.

I run IFP 2.0 rears, also no reservoirs. I wish I had rebound adjusters I guess, but ultimately not sure if I would have done reservoirs or 2.5" no-rez shocks if I had it to do over.

I'm very happy with the ride over all, loaded and unloaded. I might need to tweak the rebound damping (it's kind of harsh coming off sharp steps) in front but otherwise definitely satisfied.

How much weight would you say you have in the front? I'm planning on around 180lbs + sliders.

Who do you guys purchase your rebuild kits from? I need to rebuild a set of rears I just purchased. They are 2.0 with reservoirs.
