So if you hate surgery and did this in your teens, how many other injuries that required surgery did you have? ;)

Lol well none yet... wisdom teeth got pulled out. Probably why I make dumb decisions now :D

Edit: actually I did cut my hand open with a katana once...but that time I did go get stitches lol. I could see the tendon and everything (not cut thankfully, sorry no pics)...there may be a pattern here

Ah pit bull attacks. I was once chased by one when I was a kid delivering papers, thankfully he left me a lone. The neighbours collie use to attack us. I started carrying a 2 ft section of steel pipe, the owner would do nothing to stop it or restrain it and would laugh, so the dog got a few whacks in the head and lost a few teeth and we refused to deliver papers to them. AH he old days!

Dog never came near me again, would sit on the step and watch me, almost as if it was thinking that dudes messed up I want nothing to do with him and would just watch me and give a nod out of respect, when I led by, I always thought once I turned my back that jerk was going to tackle me. It was not a nice dog.

You put the dog in it’s place an established yourself as the alpha. Good for you. The owner probably deserved a whack or two with the pipe too. Just kinda too bad the dog had to loose a couple of teeth due to its owners poor handling of it.

Not super gruesome, but last night as i was pulling a pot off the stove with boiling water in it, it splashed out and landed on my toe, and this happened through a sock. First pic is just after second pic is today after work.

the sock actually probably made it worse. It held the hot water there for longer than it would had you not been wearing them. Really common thing with chemical burns.

There's folks that can teach you how to disable/kill even large dogs with your hands and feet. You will likely still get bit at least once, but the dog dies. Did the pitbull?

For the guys that like gruesome stories and videos, check out Charlie Morecraft from Exxon. Hard lesson learned from taking a short cut and safety gear.

I prefer a bullet, I won't get bit and the dog dies.
