What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Well there’s not too much in the cases now so I only pulled enough of the pick and pull foam out to where I had to jam it all into it, first aid kit has an actual divider set in it that’s designed for camera gear I think.

 

I did some snooping on OP's recent postings, I beleive they came from here Tacoma Beast Projector Headlights

 

Had some extra first aid decals from a batch I made for a customer, so I tossed them on a friend and I's trucks.

On the test drive I turned the AC up all the way to test how cold it got, didn't try "low" setting. Imagine my surprise when I drove it off the lot to the wonderful AC Blower chirp sound.

Well, finally got around to fixing it today. Easy enough to do, and hopefully no more chirping for a while!

 

My switch is unlit all the time unless the ditch lights are turned on.

 

I have a bit of chirp with my fan on low. Did you follow a writeup that worked for you?

 

Yeah, I used this one but used White Lithium Grease instead of gun slide grease because, well, the auto shop is a block away and I don't even know where I would rustle up gun lube. Overall took probably about an hour. Hardest part for me was removing the fan from the motor, but it just took persistence more than anything.

Got my bed all ready for winter, 2x 60lb sand bags, shovel and fire extinguisher finally mounted for good. Tub of winter clothes and boots as well as some old kitty litter. Just received my cheap specter eco Jerry can and cap so I put that under the strap too. With the winter holidays coming up I am anticipating wrecks on the road and want to have some spare gas in the event I have to sit for a while. Also taking my ham exam in a week.

 

I've been looking at this grill, however it looks like the gap where it meets the hood is off? Any better pictures or comments on this?

 

Can't wait to put my Tacomabeast headlights on. I am currently running LED's in my stock housings. I only get brighted on occasion.

The gap isnt from the actual grill, its because I cant get the weather stripping on at this moment, one of the other guys in that thread said he was going to try double sided tape tmrw and I plan on doing the same. If you look on the oem one the weather stripping is actually held on by tabs, but our friends in china didnt want to make this option available to us. Ill update with a better pic tmrw whenever I try putting the weather stripping on with the tape. As for the the holes for the 2 bolts and 2 push tabs they all lined up perfectly

 

As an Athletic Trainer, I have one in both vehicles just in case. I’d love one of these decals!
