Probably something to the effect of getting in a fight, but Chuck Norris is helping you.

Do you have the key turned on with engine off?

Yes. Push start button twice, no engine start.

I think it has something to do with me saving the MVCI Driver for Toyota, then not being able to find that file. The video shows it saving to the desktop, then opening it and running an update on techstream.

If you read the message in this, it states it won't download due to an error. I turned off all antivirus. Same error.

You don’t need the mvci driver since you are using the tactix cable. If you have all the ovt software set up, you’ll already have the drivers installed so all you need to do is follow the TS install instructions. The only real issue I had was I didn’t realize I needed to change the adapter selection to the tactrix cable.

All I want is for 1.05 to turn my 2-stroke Tacoma into a 4-stroke. Climbing Mountain passes on two lanes passing cars on Snow and Ice and having the tach at 3,999 RPM's is scary as shit. You know that as soon as you hit 4K that little V6 is going to wind up and unleash all sorts of madness and when passing uphill on a sketchy mountain top...That crazy shit just ain't cool. Please 1.05 make things a little safer! Nice moderate power increase will save lives.

Did it do anything (start to flash) Or just can’t connect?

Did you try to identify with PCM flash?

Are you able to launch techstream and successfully connect?

Just tried to "identify" with toy flash. Didn't work. What am I doing wrong? It's connected to my truck and to my laptop.

Looks to be a connection issue between your Tractrix and the computer. double check all your connections / hardware and then start looking into potential driver issues next.

Have you tried using a different USB port? Rebooting?

Yes this is a problem with your cable. Not techstream or pcm flash.

I had to use a usb splitter for some reason. Try different ports. Make sure your ignition is on. And battery voltage is good.

    AH HA!
I had to re-download the openport files to get my laptop to see it. Not sure why. But it worked now. I went from 04B02 -> 04B04. Now I need to request 1.04R from matt.

    THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!

Just drove up through wolf creek pass in a bit of a snow dump, and was definitely concerned about this truck's STUPID shifting behavior.

Hey @OVTune , will these new engine parameters you have been working on also get released for the MT guys? ( Obviously only the stuff for the engine and not bi polar part ) :D

No. Absolutely not! I really hope this is selectable. There are so many of us in here that despise chugging around town at 1100rpm in 5th gear. That setting should be part of a tune specific to better MPG, like the 87 octane tune.
