I got my HD Dakars used low miles. I’d consider other options had that not been the case.

So I just watched this and man is it nice, but I doubt I’d wanna pay 50k base model rubicon. Guessing. If the rubicon starts at what a pro does of like 43-45 maybe. It’ll sell like hot cakes anyways.

It’s also nice that they do give Dana 44s in every model if I understood video correctly.

Sounds good. I’m located up in Huntsville but we could definitely make something work if you ever needed anything.

Thought you might have to pressurize it to a certain level when it is not in use. So you do you have to initiate the locker after you change the fluids to make sure it is working properly?

Hes gonna love it. Its hands down one of my all time favorite purchases

Not really. I never check it until I need it on the trail. It's worked perfectly ever since installation. Fluids have been changed 3 times.

@stronghammer whats the guy your getting your new CVT from going to do with his Voodoo rack? I’m assuming it’s the same guy. :notsure: Also, assuming your current hard shell is to long for that rack.

Wife told me I can have a Yeti or a Viair system for Christmas.

I really want an air system but I was planning on getting the dual ARB compressor in the future because I’ll probably wind up with a front locker.

So Viair or Yeti and wait till later for ARB?

It is possible to run an air locker with a vlair. It’s been done before.

No way I’d pay close to retail for a dual compressor. You gotta buy a lot to run a locker with the dual compressor bc it doesn’t come with the canister or whatever it’s called.

It’s an expensive set up for performance offered by the compressor.

From what I can tell it’s about $685 to get a dual ARB and all the hoses and stuff needed to air up tires.

But 100% duty cycle, no tank, and I don’t want two compressors if I get a locker.

Watch this, not because it answers your question, but bc it’s interesring.

This explains the function more, you say pressurize after oil changes, but the housing is not suppose to be pressurized by the compressor and air locker. If air and oil meet that would mean you have an air leak, which allows oil to track back through the airlines. It will happen, but in a perfect world shouldn’t happen.

Mine will spew a very very minimal amount of oil, it’s less than a drop per cut off, but bc it’s pressurized it spreads
