I Painted the area around the Gear Shift

    I Painted the area around the Gear Shift Black. I think it looks SWEET! What do you guys think? I used Krylon Fusion Satin Black. This was very easy, to be honest the hardest part was taping off the chrome and the cup-holder to keep the gray look in it.
    Next I want to do all four window controls.

    EDIT:Update: I just finished the front window control panels too. Feels good to finally add some contrast to the gray

    Looks pretty good!! I was thinking about doing something similar but the thought of taking spray paint to those kinds of stock areas makes my stomach queazy.:p

OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
    looks good, nice work!

    I took the gear shift knob off and then just pull up gently. pops right out.

    Did the same thing, the rear window controls are a major PITA! No need to remove the knob either

    Bugger, skid plate, colour coded cap, bed mat, AFE Air Filter, Rear diff breather mod, Chirp on door lock;unlock, ABS mod, Weathertechs front and rear, 60" Hi-lift jack, LED light mod in rear bed, 12V accessory in bed, n more stuff.
    Did the same with mine. I also did all the silver that was around the radio and the temperature switches. I also did the chrome bezels around the gauges. All black. Really like it better than the silver.

    ^Says the cool guy. Sometimes it's just easier/more convenient to paint it if you don't have the trim/package that has everything black, not near a junk yard, and don't feel like giving more money to the stealership
