I'm so happy the company I work with bought a bunch of those new tilt meters .
Measures the resistance as well so you can tell if it's an actual short or just a transformer down the line.

I've seen a few arc flash/arc blast now .I don't fuck around anymore

New tilt meters? My first thought was of the inclinometers that you install on the big high rise buildings.
Googled it and realized you mean the transformer testers. LOL
I have a 1507 Megger that I carry in my bag, along with my 373 on my belt.
I've not seen an Arc flash on any jobs I've supervised... but then again I was first on site for a fatal Arc flash 30 years ago,
that I think, had a very good influence on my safety awareness for the rest of my career.
Why I went into electrical after seeing that crap just goes to show you how crazy I/we really are.
People think I'm joking when I say " What difference does the 40Cal suit make in this situation? Open vs Closed casket".

I call the Meggers "Apprentice Testers" , we even have one of the old hand crank ones floating around the shop, new apprentices and coops learn why you don't hold the leads and press the button. LOL

Lol "back in the day" it was common for Sparkies to test if 120V was live by doing the "touch test".
One ol' guy explained this test to me very well.
"Make sure your hands are dry. Since electricity causes your muscles to contract you never want to touch with the front of your fingers as that may cause your hand to contract and grip the live wire. Touch with the back of your hand, that way, if it is live, the muscles will contract, and not cause you to grip the wire, but smack yourself in the head for being stupid enough to touch something live".

Crappy Tire has these!! knocked off KC Lites
    https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/alpena-led-modcube-lighting-0203791p.html#srp

for that price point and no shipping costs, cheaper than extreme LED knock offs.

Milton would be a better option IMHO, plus I literally have a wild wings at the end of my street (547m from my door) and I've never had St. Louis wings :D But I'll go with what the majority want.

Saturday the 22nd is the best date for me too. I can see if Ski from CT Motorsports and some others would want to come as well.

    @OverlandRacksOntario How about you?

I always hated the reflection off the hood you get from them, didn’t put them on current truck for this reason.

I have them aimed pretty much forward because of the side shooter aspect of the pods. Though, the snow reflecting the light is accentuating that glare, dry hood it's about half of that.

@llamasmurf idea of the black vinyl would reduce that glare even further.

    Put me in.

You can all oh and ahh at the massive ding in my passenger side rear fender and cab. lol

when this comes a little closer to my neighbourhood i should probably stop in and meet the crew. seems like the polite thing to do before begging for help installing the stuff i bought during black friday week.

dont worry, theres alot... you can all have a turn.

There is usually a meet out in kw off of the brumbo exit. Coffee meets in Sunday’s. I’ll try and bring them over from true north Toyota trucks.
