Hey guys, I got a bit of a concern I'd like to share.
Every meet I've been to I have encountered dogs a bit too aggressive and not under control by the owners (excessive barking, pulling owners on leash, etc) While I am no dog handler expert, I do worry about my dog's wellbeing and would like to continue bringing her out with me without having to constantly monitor other dogs that aren't mine.

I wonder if this is something that has been addressed or something worth checking into to work on as a group.

Since I'm still new here I risk asking a dumb question but... Is there a calendar of all TCC Events that on might be able to keep up with or do I just need to keep watching for events to be posted. The reason I ask is that I would be much more likely to be able to come to certain things if I could plan a little ways out. If not no big deal. Just asking...

Hey man, long time no see. Thanks for checking in

I would assume these dogs are NOT leashed?

It's required by COTA they stay on a leash at all times.

I'm not sure what kind of preventative action we could take...but at the meets something certainly can be done.

No dumb questions, ever! Trust me, I've asked some pretty outlandish things on here before.

Check the 1st post of this thread and go ahead and add our official meets calender to your personal set.

Yeah and unfortunately not all dog owners understand proper socialization of dogs or have the cognitive ability to see when a dog is being a nuisance.

Irresponsible pet owners are one of my biggest pet peeves.
    For instance:
I saw a lady the other day whipping her dog with a leash telling it to go pee....

We should really create a rule that all dogs need to be on a leash and attached to the owner so that this kind of incident doesn't happen.

Under control of the owner is key. I see people who attach a leash and then let the dog roam freely "because hes on a leash"
