Yes. The bed lights are wired to work whether the truck is on or off.

Dual battery coming next year. Hopefully summer.

How did you wire one side of the leds to the other? Just soldering? I think with RGB lights its different then just a negative and positive?

Condensation in your campers? What are you guys doing about it. I only seem to be getting it right where my tailgate closes, the tailgate itself and about 6 inches in. Any recommendations?

Picked up this leer 100XL for $450. Leaks a little at the front corners of the bed, so I gotta seal that up but over all very happy with it.

I've posted somewhere in this thread about sealing your bed rails- found through research that's likely your cause

Anyone have an ARE EVO yet? It is on par with the 100XR, budget side but a power window.

I bought a spool of 8g, or maybe 10g, of power wire from the parts house and ran it to the rear of the bed. Used a regular bit and a step bit, then opened up a hole large enough for a round rocker switch. I feed some LEDs and use the posts on the switch to charge my RC batteries.

I’m almost embarrassed to post this here with some of the nice shells in this thread, but this is my “tide me over til I get a real shell” shell. It came off of an older Colorado but the color was right and the price was right (free). I figured it was a good way to see what options I wanted before I spent 2 grand on a new cap. The fit is nowhere near perfect, but it’s “close enough” to get me through the winter.
Plus I wanted to see how the color combo would look.

For the price, you can buy a pop-up camper and have AC with a shower.

Just finding this thread, and I apologize if this has been discussed before.

I have an ARE MX topper I found super cheap on Craigslist. It has a standard door and half slide windows. I have a local dealer that but I believe would be somewhat reluctant to sell me parts. What I would like to do is replace the standard door with a full walk-in gate and replace the windows for windoors. Anybody ever done this?
