@jayrobot is this for guys with 4g modules too? Or just standalone units without mobile module?

 

Just the ones without smart. We’re touching up the smarts and we have half of the modules in so far to fulfill...they’re coming in small increments at a time so if I don’t get them all, the order in which was received will be the order which goes out as they come in....I’m scraping every release in the nation. 10 from one vendor, 12 from another, 18 from a third and so on...then I circle back to the first...it’s because of the shortage and new release, the manufacturer/factory divvies it up in small portions to be fair to all distributors. No one large allocation can go to one place to I’ve placed small orders (100 pieces here, 100 there and so on so that they can release) if my order is too large, they only send small portions and there is a queue for the balance remaining to be sent based on order received from retailers like me. So I’m not in line in one place, I’m in line in a bunch of places, and the line in front of me is not long if not me the first everywhere, because some have dropped out, or in most cases I study the industry, and I anticipate the release so my name goes first before anyone even has a chance to realize it’s coming out. My own sales reps don’t even know about this 3G/4G thing, I had to school them months ago. Months ago I was putting my name down on them. I’m holding out just a tad longer on the remaining orders that are packed ready for the smart module, because they are trickling in. Everyone will be briefed and anyone who might have to wait slightly longer will be communicated any changes or delays on the next outbound wave next week. Hell you guys had no idea the crap I had to go through to scrape the last bit of plug n play harnesses in American for the push to start. It’s a national shortage. And they were back ordered for a month now, I just cleared that hurdle just in time, and guess what, it’s still backnordered. I have my ways. I don’t stop and won’t stop. It’s my image on the line. Not the customers problem. I want to thank you all for being so kind and patient as I work to get these things fulfilled and shipped!

This is just a portion of you guys’ portion. I take them to my workshop at my home and not the warehouse because I work around the clock on them. Leaving them offsite anywhere each night is lost time. Local stuff stay there, I’ll see them when I see them...I’m not worried about those, I’m more worried about you guys and the damn daily messages about how cold your a$$es are! It brings a tear to my eye and kinda breaks my heart that a Russian toddler somewhere in Siberia is reading this and laughing about how cold we are...

 

Hoping I’m more toawards the top of that list! Maybe we can go by the coldest weather the past couple weeks? That seems fair lol

 

Or I can put them on a dingy in the middle of a nearly about the freeze lake and see who’s willing to take one last nip at the nips to stay warm forever?

 

I’ve always wanted to be on fear factor lol but I wouldn’t when it come down to it so I’ll just wait and be patient

 

1AM PST local time. Final Pre-Delivery inspections. Final Tracking numbers going in then getting blasted at the same time; trying to update the system before some of you guys wake up on the he east coast with a “I didn’t see a tracking number” email or phone call haha...

...and I still get my son ready for school at 7 AM amidst all of it and drive him there then head back to the shop to keep going at it. My day starts at 6:30 AM and ends about 5AM the next day on average since the sale. Let me tell you guys, this is one of the reasons there will NOT be a Christmas sale...I need a small break, and a bears den to knock out in until 2019.

I’m starting to think instead of a Christmas sale, I’m going to have a Christmas markup...need to slow it down because you guys are relentless...I find myself having to keep re-ordering hundreds of units at a time to satisfy sales outside of this forum...I think word has made it out to the entire US that I’m the go to guy for 3rd gen Manual Remote starts...I am truly humbled. Thanks for all the support ladies and gents. Without you guys I wouldn’t do what I do with the passion I have. I’ll be even more gratified when I see the joy you guys get after the install (and stellar reviews you’re all required to give me hahaha, I kid...or am I? ) I’m excited for you all!

Thanks for the update! I probably got a little too excited when I read they were all ready for shipment! I recalled the issue about the harnesses and shortage of the 4g units so I didn’t know if a Christmas miracle happened and you got a bunch in.

 

Perfect timing for me then! I grab it on a sale ;-)

 

Remember if you have a shortage of anything, I will sell you what you need. Cause that’s what friends do

@jayrobot Is there a way to deactivate the lights that come on when you remote start you truck? If you could I would like to know so that when you do use the remote start people won't know that it is sitting there running since the lights are on and no ones in the truck unless they are walking by or see the exhaust. Was just thinking if a thief sees it sitting there even though they won't be able to take the truck I don't want them breaking the window or doing other damage thinking they might be able to. Just a thought.

Half a miracle. I solved the harness shortage, found practically one of the last corners of the Country that had enough to carry me through all your orders and then some until my back orders from multiple sources come in. Another half miracle/Hail Mary and we’re good!


By the way, my Tuesday started at 7AM and just ended now. My Wednesday just started as I have to get my son ready for school and then drive him there. Yes, I have not slept yet. No thanks to you guys

Please be careful.. Sleep deprivation is no joke, especially while driving my man. Your health, both mental and physical is worth more to us (or maybe just to me) then getting everything out ridiculously quick. I may speak for myself but if you told me you were taking a day to yourself and put the orders and shit on hold, I wouldn't mind.
