You realize its his 1990 pickup right? His family just wants it gone. Think it was like his grandpa or father in-law before he passed.

God I hate bidding on eBay. Someone beat me by three seconds and $1.

    Oh.

That’ll be interesting to fit onto the Tacoma frame.

At this point just SAS the pickup frame.

He probably didn’t even want it either.

He just knew by your bid the type of person you are.

I did win this one though. Four blueprints regarding the brake, accelerator, and clutch pedals. Doesn’t look as cool as the Taillight blueprints or the suspension blueprints, but it’s still cool.

It’s nice to win for once. Get myself something nice for my birthday.

No he didn't, you have to bid by $2-4 and his auto bid was probably set to be a low as possible while beating you

I’ve been doing the field enter bid. Forgot about the set auto bids.

I can't believe that you don't just enter the highest price you will pay and forget about it.

In a bidding war, snipers will get you every time.

I'm pretty sure these people look for auctions that are being bid activly. They open several browsers with the auction already loaded. Each auction has a slightly higher bid. I think they have no life and get their kicks ruining our day.

I skip the bullshit and just put in the highest price I'll pay. It also keeps emotion out of the equation. I'm competitive and I know how easy it is to get in a bidding war.

I won’t lie I let emotions get in the way. I was a lil upset after the second auction. First auction was my own fault, I bid with a week left.

That would’ve been smart. The third auction, I entered my max bid for what the most I was willing to pay and I won.

I don’t usually do auctions, this seller only operates with auctions.

Auctions are how you get the most money for something, and with things that have questionable value like those blueprints that is very smart

Whoever bought that lot of DeLorean paperwork from the bankruptcy liquidation auction in 1983 is a very rich man. These seemingly worthless checks and paperwork and blueprints and bus tickets are selling for so much.

Original sketches by John DeLorean for a DeLorean truck sold for $471. It was just a bunch of scrap pieces of paper with his doodles.
