Why it takes the dealer 90 minutes to do 5 minutes of work is not my problem, it's theirs. I got my two free changes then took my business to their competition who have them plainly beat.

It is a little different story when it is 1 1/2 hour drive to the dealership. Then to get jacked around for 90 minutes for a scheduled oil change is a bit much. When your tach and speedometer act up sporadically, but never at the dealer's, and a mechanic with fewer manual transmission miles in his lifetime than I drive in a month, says, "Perhaps you forgot it in 3rd gear to get 70 mph at 3400 rpm?" I am all done with them, except possibly for warranty work. (and I thought these were supposed to be well built trucks - but have already had a recall)

    Seriously? $2/hr??

If I double that, would you please come over and cut my grass? I have 5.5 acres and a Kubota tractor.

Btw you don’t get a loaner for work requiring 3hrs or less. Not sure about the shuttle

Fuck yeah. You paid for that truck, pay up for their friendship. You’ll do it. You’ll do it, and you’ll LIKE it.

I hate the Kuerigs at the dealership with the free coffee. I mean how effing long does it have to take to fill my cup! 30 seconds for a fresh cup of coffee is a ridiculous wait!:pccoffee:

    OP,
I’ll take the beating with you. I hate waiting for anything and anyone, dealership included. Call it whining, I don’t care. Someone said they value their free time at $2/hr. That is the single craziest statement I’ve ever heard. I value my free time as infinity. Maybe it’s stage of life. I used to work 75 hours a week when trying to make that money and buy a house, etc. Now instead of making $65/hr on the weekends I’ll gladly take a comp day during the week just to get a day back into my own time.

I’m with you man. 3 hours at the dealership is not worth a free oil change and some food/drinks ever. Keep on whining on my man. I’m with you.

I got a loaner twice when they worked on my leaky differential, pretty sure it was a recall

Not sure there's enough there for you to determine my attitude. I'm not mean to anyone, all I say is thanks for the free change and have a nice day. Then when it's time to pay for the service I go to a place that does it better.
