    I’ve always kinda dug how #1 they’re fun to mess around with #2 they’re about as sturdy as a fixed blade when built with quality and #3 they’re legal to carry in MO (biggest +). They’re damned pricey tho

    Not legal to carry here in Cali but then again most everything fun is illegal here. One of the reasons why I don't own one but I do have other knives that I carry that aren't legal.

    Certain types of knives like the balisong, aka butterfly knife, we were talking about. Not illegal to own, just illegal to carry. NY is now worse than CA.

    butterfly, lipstick (knives disguised as other things), or any auto knife over 2" is illegal in california. shit you can carry a machete around as long as its in a sheath and not concealed. california has some weird knife laws but they arent HORRIBLE like the gun laws.

    I have carried a pocket knife every fricking day of my life, since I was about 8 or 9 years. To church, to job interviews, to school, to college, to weddings and funerals.

    I just don't understand why New York banned them? Was there an epidemic of criminals using knives to commit crime?
