My 4runner I'm going to build will be manual...with dual cases. I do like my auto to wheel though.

Sadly the new CVT’s in the WRX’s apperently aren’t that good. People were reporting failures with just a tune/catback exhaust/CAI along with premature wear. I hear they’re really quick though as I was only able to drive one for about half a mile to 1 mile.

I dunno about the WRX version, but the regular impreza version sucks.

Yeah I just really wanted a manual and nothing could really sway my mind at the time. I worked at Acura and liked their dual clutch Auto’s a lot better then the CVT’s that most auto makers were putting out. Apperently 2020 the wrx/wrx sti will see a redesign on the “new global platform” so it will be interesting to see what happens especially with the CVT’s if they do give it a slight bump in horsepower.

Who needs a v8 when you can get a 4 cylinder turbo in AWD unless you’re looking hellcat or along the lines of R/T and scat pack. I really did like my WRX, bought a set of winter tires(unstoppable snow plow) and I leased it in case I didn’t like driving a manual every single day and glad I did because now I’m in the taco. Plus paying over $3.00 plus for Premium got old too. I was alittle surprised though when the ride was smoother/quieter in my taco also, but the wrx is definitely a fun car. Anyone need a set of car snow tires that have less then 500 miles on them?

I would look at the R/T I am keeping my truck when I get a new company car. So I don’t really need the AWD unless it’s the random rain/ snow days.

I like the WRX for the fun of shifting gears and pretty much fits anywhere.

I would have to agree, I’ve never owned a charger, but even though my car was stock with the exception of LED plate lights, tinted tails, rally armor flaps, vortex generator, rain guards, and CF overlays.. I got compliments/stares/pictures every where from both male and female. Especially at Costco for some reason. Lol edit:never had an issue parking. D648B4A3-51EB-4469-8979-65402A98D4E9.jpg

Not really I picked it up myself and put it in the truck took it home and put it in the garage until the paint shop has time to do it.

Has anyone here ever built a camping trailer? I’m talking along the lines of buying a base trailer and building/upgrading from there. Or would just be easier to sacrifice my bed space and buy a canopy/hard shell and start there?
