A little something every chance we get.
Wasn't implying at all you unplugged it. Thought you got it used. someone probably had some "issue" with how it sort of works, and just pulled it. Still, plugging stuff in that certainly should work shortens the path to fixing!

Not as dumb as you might think! as you troubleshoot..... and I am wrong - out of sequence
    1) Is the "breaker/circuit off" so you are safe?
    2) Is the "breaker/circuit ON". so you can troubleshoot?
    3) Is it plugged it?
    4) Does anything work where you plugged it in?
    5) Is what you plugged into CONNECTED to anything?

So you were really at number 5, and didn't get hurt.

One time I was pulling into a parking spot at Tech and literally as soon as I got all the way into the spot, my truck stopped moving and the front driver side passenger side started to HIKE out of no where. Was like tf. I looked under and the tie rod literally just fell out of the knuckle. Just dun fell out, no broken parts or anything. Ended up just throwing it back in, got a new nut and haven't had an issue since

Fourier series to demonstrate a tie rod falling out?

Actually, what about using a Fourier series for suspension? I wonder if anyones thought of modeling compression and rebound with a Fourier series before...

brb, time to do some googling

I couldn't find anything on google. I bet you could use one to model dampening and compression at certain points of down travel. HmMmMMmmmmMMMMmmMmmm

See, always up to a challenge! I mentioned this at dinner with the retired Algebra teacher, and smart Grad Student that our group encompasses all! That started them talking all right! About Fourier Series of course!

That's awesome. They're super interesting. Its how all of everyone's radios work now a days. But there's not a lot of practical uses. If you could tune a shock using a fourier series model you'd have a shit ton of control...

If we could get this truck straightened out before C&C that'd be 10/10, but I can wait if I have too. I'm probably just going to replace the tailgate at this point. Its trashed. I want to get one with a tire carrier build in, like those Wilco ones, but I doubt they'd be able to hold a 40 or much less 42...

you said you would replace the tail, and there is doubt full I can get you in before C&C, so show off the dent! LBR isn't going in until after, because son is now here with a spare Prius. So, I am taking up space on the 17th. I will also ask him for realistic date. And if the simple bang is a one day deal.
