    Thank you for making it so simple for me to make the most educated and researched unwise financial decisions regarding my Tacoma. My truck loves you and my wallet hates you.
    With that said, I’ve been sucking at the teat of tacomaworld so it’s only right I finally introduce myself. My name is Bobby and I live in Diamond Bar, Ca but grew up in Rancho Cucamonga so Lytle Creek/San Bernardino mtn’s is my backyard and I try to go up weekly. I’m still somewhat new to the scene (coming from the Honda/tuner world, tacomaworld is a dream compared to those forums) so I’m all for finding local trails and meets.     One of the most helpful investments I've made was buying one of these military surplus antenna tie downs. However, I got mine for $10! Yikes lol You could probably make one yourself for a lot cheaper.

    I tied it to one of the sliding bed rail tie down points with the proper amount of slack and trained my wife how to tie it down when we come to parking garages, tunnels, low clearance deals. Pops in and out in just a few seconds.

    @Trouble_The_Tacoma I can’t say I’ve seen that type of tie down before but then again I’m still very new to 2 way radios. When I was piecing together my setup I liked some of the quick disconnects that had a swivel for the antenna to lay flat 90 degrees but read they weren’t very sturdy and sorta rattled with the antenna in the up position. Since I really only use the cb for wheeling trips it’s easy enough for me to simply remove and replace when needed.
