I'm waiting to pull the trigger on that very product!! Though from the thread, looks like double sided tape for the A-Pillar might be the way to go (Let me know if you received the updated drill/cut template that corrected the 1" off bolt hole!!)

I did double sided on my airflow. It works for the most part.

I have not been looking at the thread recently, the template I received is marked as SN59-3461

I will be using part of the install method from the ARB airflow thread, tape the entire fender. Put grease on the studs on the snorkel, and press it against the taped fender to ensure it all lines up correctly. Then center punch holes once I am confident is all lines up.

Also I plan on using 3M fine mesh velcro to attach to the pillar, no drilling on that bitch for me. I am only worried that the -40C here in the winter may fuck with the glue on it, but wont know till I do it.

Dobinsons seem pretty active on TW and have been engaged with the feedback they have been receiving. I have a few other purchases in line before the snorkle, so I'm going to bug you for info once you get it installed!! :)

I should have bought a winch, but I bought the snorkel.

Lol, not as of yet. hopefully I get a ARB Dif breather kit for either christmas or my birthday in the next couple of weeks, then I'm going to be far more comfortable considering water crossings. Is the bridge still closed (having to detour around to the south side of the bridge takes a 13 minute drive and turns it into a 25 minute one)?

lol, your truck is a bit more advanced than mine, winch is way way down on my list.

At least if you ever make a trip to Toronto, you'll be able to use the snorkle if it rains

Lol, the only reason why a snorkle moved up my list was the price point on that brand. Being half the price of ARB goes a long way to providing an incentive

Yeah, winch has more uses than snorkel in my experience.
    Get it next!

    Sounds good, fair enough.
A new bridge is being put up right now,

THats what i was getting at, there is a detour through the nith beside the bridge so you don’t have to go around

I went to the stealership last night for oil change 7 of 8 on my warranty. 44025KM on my rig now :cookiemonster:

The technician who did the oil change came and talked to me...

Tech 'Why is the breather for your rear diff relocated?'
    Me 'For amazingness'
Tech 'Oh, and why is there an air line run along the frame under your truck?'
Me 'Ah that is for stage 2 amazingness'
    Tech 'That makes no sense'
Me 'Im just fuckin with you, I use my truck off road and wanted my rear diff breather higher, I put onboard air on my truck'
    Tech 'On board air?'
Me 'Yes sir, its amazing as I said'

We are chatting beside the service manager so he chimes in

Service manager 'On board air? What would you ever use that for?'
Me 'Just think about all the things you can do with a compressor built into your truck, that is what I use it for'

Me 'Dont worry boys, you aint seen nothing yet. Next time you see it, it will have a snorkel'

Both of them just stare at me with glazed over eyes.

Yes I agree, the stupid snorkel is just for looks. Main reason I bought it. I want my truck to be unique in North Bay. No one else has one here.

Winch is the next item I have my eyes on. Tax return will get it I am sure.

Honestly I don’t feel I have ever needed my snorkel, but for the few water crossing I was glad to have it for the peace mind.
