Love mine..still fighting a pinched nerve. I was very skeptical about them but seeing how he's helped my wife with her back opened my eyes.

Does this look to anyone what I think it is? It appears that the steering rack is leaking in my wife’s Escape.

I dunno. Put it back on and take more pictures.

    That's no rack: it's a CV shaft.

    BTW, I agree with Drew.
I'd look at it on mine and think, it just weeping and no worries.
    The boots can't seal all.
If it gets worst faster then have someone lift it and look.

Thanks for the info, I was thinking a low amp draw computer fan. Install it in the useless storage cuddy with some vents cut out.

Still wouldn't be enough, unless you left both of the windows wide open. We've got a 5" 12v fan hooked to an auxiliary battery that we use for air circulation. It works fine for during the summer, but it isn't enough once the temperature drops. We slept out the weekend after Columbus Day and even with the front slider & the side windows cracked about an inch and the fan running we still fogged up the inside pretty good.

Edit- It may have been enough if it'd just been one person.

I did my power steering and brake fluid reservoirs today with my new little sucker. It got right in there and removed the fluid quickly and easily and WOW what a difference! I'm going to do it again next week!

Those pumps are handy, I use something similar on the entire truck. It's a Topsider https://m.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_390306_390306 and will do all the fluids on the truck. The hose size on the PS resi like mentioned is tiny, this has 3 hoses included.

    That’s really cool.
Would a local parts store carry those?

Yeah that's very nice and seems awesome for a shop. The little bulb sucker that I got worked great. With the amount I will be using it, it fits my needs perfectly and at only a 10th of the cost

What’s the procedure for that ( P/S) you don’t do that with engine running, right?
My power steering fluid is really dark ,but the dealership put a new rack in for me ,so this fluid color could be normal?

No with the engine off. I just sucked it out and refilled it. I'll be doing it again in another week
