So as expected there’s more damage than we initially thought once they started tearing things down. As it stands now, from what the guy at my shop told me, the best option if cost wasn’t an issue would probably be to just replace the whole cab. He’s going over everything and writing the hell out of stuff for the insurance to deal with, but I’m wondering if it’d just be easier at this point to just declare it totaled and work from there. Heading over later this afternoon to get some pics and to see it with my own eyes.

If you own the truck free n clear i woukd total it buy it back rebuild it yourself. Take the extra cash n buy a dd while you are fixing the tacoma.

Picked up this 3 month old yellow top for $100. A coworker slammed his taco into a pole when it was pissing rain last week. He wanted to make some money before insurance picked it up for a total loss.

Got a matching wheel in for my spare, no more mis matching. Then I started peeling the plasti dip off my other spare so I can sell it. Look at how pro my plasti dip job was. All in one piece so far!

 

Would like to hear your thoughts on these after you get them installed. I am currently looking at the possibility of picking up a set

 

Ordered a Jensen VX7024 Navigation radio from Crutchfield. Gets here the 17th Merry Christmas to me.

 

Installed rear shocks and leafs today. Will tackle the front tomorrow.
