So I'm doing this today. OEM Toyota parts I just picked up from the local dealership.

 

While waiting for stabilizer bar links, cushions, brackets, bolts and nuts I installed my driver and passenger side seat trim brackets from @mechanicjon. Really wish I had taken a "before" pic, but here's the "after" on the driver's side. Spent more time removing the residue from my duct tape reconstruction several years ago than actually installing the brackets. Solid as a rock.

 

Just to reconfirm, the LED bulbs do need to have a shield to block the low beam light from hitting the bottom of the headlight housing. I'm running a set that I did the glare guard mod using 1/2 cooper pipe, but I already had my investment in a set of the Opt7's, and my wife says I'm not allowed to waste money!! They were terrible without, and work great now.

 

I've been looking at these because they had a shield:

New WeatherTechs. I think the Tan worked with the (edit: not oak) Tan overtones in the plastic trim and the Charcoal carpet.

 

Would have been nice to see all 10 projected onto the wall for comparison. The shape of the housing undoubtedly is the biggest factor.

 

They won't. Just get ones with shields. It'll save you the headache or all the shipping and hassle.

I think it’s you California dudes. Everything has to be custom and color matched.

 

Don't know what California or any other state or country has to do with it. Most people like things to match. But then again some people like to roll around with unpainted/white body kits on their cars that aren't white.

 

To my eyes, and my wife’s, they look good. The light is different here. Dismal in the winter, crisp and red in the fall, and hazy in the summer. The tan works here in a way that it wouldn’t in the West Coast sun. I really mean that.

 

I think the tan looks good, I mean they're just floor mats after all lol. Tan will help hide the dirt

Please do, I really like those Wildernests and I’ve never seen one on the East Coast. I’d follow that thread.

 

The Philips ones look primo so do the ones the retrofit source sell
