I had a similar experience in falls church. Once they’re an asshats to me I’m out of there. They can fuck right off if they think they are going to get me to buy something after being dickheads. The salesman called and texted the entire next day when I was at another dealership.

Just be careful with rust belt trucks. Frame replacements. Get a good look over that thing.

The frame looks good. Some slight surface rust on welds. But the hardware under the hood is what tipped me off.

I completely feel that way. I really bristled up quickly and just got up and walked out. Buuuutttttt. I did drive an hour and a half to get here. And I feel like 21k for a ‘13 Spruce DCLB Limited with 85k on it is a price I’m going to have a hard time replicating. I’ve got him at $21,341. So close.

Mine did too until about a yr later then 2 huge holes appeared. My frame also had the undercoating done the first time it went in for the rust recall. Later with me it failed a second time so got a new frame.

That does seem like a decent deal. But trust your gut if there are clues of it not being taken care of then run before it becomes a problem for you. It took me a few months to find my truck. Spruce is a tough color to find too.

I bought new but I emailed every dealer within a hundred miles of Alexandria telling them what I wanted and asking for the best price. I had them competing with one another for the best price.

But then after I got the lowest offer I just had a local dealer price match.

Afterward, I had fun sending a picture of my truck to the dealers who were over pushy or down right rude and asking them to welcome me to the Toyota family.

Stay away from any used vehicle from north the DC area. At least that's what I found I bought a used 2015 pilot a few months back. I looked at at least 20 from Jersey/ Maryland and PA. All of them had signs of premature rust. I finally found one in Arlington that was used southwest of there that was is far better condition. I bought my truck new in richmond so no worries of rust there.

Carmax is a freaking joke. You cant win. They buy shitty cars at auction and sell them for premium prices to people that dont have the time to shop around.
