Happy birthday @bucktales have a great one!

Good morning. Pot luck yesterday was international cuisine, we have people on the team from all around the world now. Everything was highly edible. But around 3 this morning my body said otherwise. Still was good. Meetings all day yesterday including my annual review. Turns out was my Unit Head birthday and she told me she is retiring in exactly one year at 63. Told her she can't, I don't have the energy to train my next boss. So she gave me some pointers on where to go for checking current retirement benefits and pay calculations.

Feel like I didn't get a damn thing done yesterday sitting in meetings all day. Just let me build shit and fix shit. Then I'm happy. And leave me alone.

    Happy Friday :pccoffee:

    Good Morning

Warmer temps this weekend. Going to do some bowhunting this weekend. Still have a few nice ones still walking around.
Yesterday was day 9 with new foreman. He still hasn't introduced himself. He not making any friends. Telling people that if they have to use the bathroom that's what break and lunch are for.

    Happy birthday @bucktales

At work for now. I have to stay a while. Our Christmas bonus checks come out this morning and I have to issue them to my staff.

After work, the wife and I are headed to Charlestown Indiana, where we lived for quite a few years. One of their police officers was killed Wed evening. He was chasing a stolen car when he slid off the road and hit a tree, killing the officer instantly. His grandfather was my grade school football coach. We're going for a candle light vigil. BTW, subject was caught later and will be charged for "Death of a police officer in a resisting arrest incident".

The officer, Sgt Ben Bertram, 33, married, was also a K9 officer. His partner wasn't injured seriously.

My Christmas bonus will be donated to a fund for Sgt Bertram's wife. The very least I can offer....

seems alot of ours carry into Jan or Feb anymore. last year we had trail cams of them in Feb.we will hunt this week some and im done. i dont shoot does this late a they have mostly been breed. i hope son gets one he has 6 different 8pts on camera since last week. he found a honeyhole.he got skunked this year and usually gets a couple. but Kudos to him,on last week of rifle he saw a 140in buck on the bank of our land drivin back to camp and would not shoot from the road. thats how you know a mans character by what he does when nobody is watchin. i was Very proud!!

100% chance of rain for the next 48 hours.

Damn. I should have washed my truck.

As much as 2" predicted. That will make this the 2nd wettest year on record for the Louisville area. Leave's us less than 2" from wettest. Of the top 5 wettest years ever here, 3 of the 5 have been in the last 4 years.

    This is some Seattle shit.....

    Morning all
    Happy birthday @bucktales !

Sent a nasty text to my architect. Letting him know he just pushed me back to april/May start time because of his inability to get simple stuff to me.

Next visit is the architectural board. I am done with his shit.

Good morning folks. Drinking coffee and putting on boots. Slept in. Felt good. It's a short OT day anyway, no sense in making work out of it...

Condolences. I just read about that chase/ crash on the news. I hope they draw and quarter the son of a bitch for causing the death of another just because he felt the need to steal a car.

    And Happy Birthday @bucktales.

Never heard of London broil in a crock.... I'll have to look that up.

Actually I did , but thought that was talking about the city you live in's board that controls what can and cannot be done to a house/neighbor hood. Here we have that type of board for historical districts and such . So the board you referred to actually governs Architects .
