Yea being on here as much as I am, I haven't heard of many terrible things about the 2.5 GEN. Actually like the front end a little more.

Did just notice it says crew cab. It's hard to tell if people mean 4 door with these. Is it access for two plus room and crew for 4 doors? I definately need 4 doors lol

Access cab is the smaller of the 2 with suicide doors for the rear. Double Cab or Crew is the bigger normal sized doors. With a baby on the way DC is the way you want to go.

    Yea I've watched em lol

It all rides on what I get from my payout though. Hopefully they see the true value in my truck. It's kinda looking like the stars may align with this truck if i play it right. If not I'll be without a vehicle because after they deem it a total loss I have to turn in my rental.

Fight them on turning in the rental. I know here they try and force you out as fast as they can. If you fight them and say hey look your asshole driver put me out of a vehicle I need to get to and from work plus gotta find a vehicle so you can be patient. It's a bunch of crap dealing with ins. and a fight every step of the way. Like going in haggling over a vehicle you know what you wanna pay but start lower than than just opposite with ins. you know what you should of been able to get for it but you start higher plus all the other shit thrown in like inconvenience etc.

It's my insurance that provided the rental. Maybe I can haggle his to give me one. I'll keep that all in mind. Thanks... for real.

I have USAA as well and when a tree fell on my wife’s highlander (long time ago) I believe we were able to keep the rental about 5-7 days after a total loss determination was done.

Also, read your appraisal report closely if they total it...they’re usually populated with bullshit cookie cutter things like “cracked hoses and belts”, “leaks”, “scratches”, etc. I challenged their first appraisal with logical explanations and service records and got my payout doubled.

OHYEA. I told them to put in BIG BOLD letters to note that ANY action taken you will call me immediately. I'm gunna go over all of it with a fine toothed comb. I know my truck in and out. And have paperwork/receipts to show everything.

The rental car thing I never got one from my ins. I always brow beat the at fault party to give me one. Or I had backup secondary cars. They may try and get you to agree to something over the phone like Dan said get that shit in writing and go over it well.

Dogs turn 11 today, well 2 out of the 3.

I always cook them a steak on their birthday so they’ll be pumped. Not a filet or anything but they’re not picky.
