My first car was a red 65 Corvair in 1975. Only kept it for a month and got rid of it after one of my high school buddies thought it was funny to flip off the semi driver behind us. He had that truck inches off my rear bumper and I had it wide open and could not get away from him. Everyone was screaming in the car and I thought we were going to die. I picked up a 67 Fairlane after that for when stupid stuff like that happened. Sometimes I wonder how I survived this long.

1967 Camaro (POS). I told my mom I was gonna buy a motorcycle and she matched my $800. and I bought a stolen car. Yep. Another great life lesson.

    THIS. 1971 Toyota Corolla wagon.
2-speed auto transmission that when you turned on the A/C it couldn't get out of its own way.
Yeah, I was a strange 17 yr old.

Then I suddenly came to my senses and traded it for this 1970 Plymouth RoadRunner with a H.S. classmate.
Boy, were our fathers confused when we gathered to sign the titles and trade! Beep! Beep!

For real, that would be a tough decision for me. I'm the kind of weirdo who gets more excited when I see a Subaru with the H6 than when I see a rare supercar. A 71 Corolla wagon would be fantastic.

Ugliest car ever made by man.

Looked exactly like this one if you added a lot of rust.

1994 Saab 900. Loved that little car. Eventually ended up more or less falling apart at just under 300,000 miles. Sold it to some meth heads for $300. Biggest regret of my life to date.

Still have her. 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible with the 352 FE Big Block w/ Autolite 4BBL Carb. Bought at 16 in 2001 for $3000 not running and having sat for almost 20 years. I am the second owner and definitely overpaid because God knows how much $$ it took to bring her back. Learned a lot by fixing most of the drivetrain myself. Don't drive her very much at all these days and it's about time to throw more money her way. Still, I could fire her up and drive coast to coast and I doubt I'd have any mechanical issues. Love her!

74 Chevy Nova. I git it for my 16th and was 2nd owner, Dad was the first. I got it with about 170K on the clock. It did not come with factory air just the vents that could be opened and closed in the foot wells. Dad added an aftermarket AC that hung under the dash about the time I was learning to ride a bicycle. I did some upholstery repair and replaced the TC before selling in favor of a 76 Malibu before the year was over.

*not my pic, pulled from the web. The color and everything but the wheels match, this one has aftermarket rims mine had the stock steelies.
