To be fair, a lot of people these days prefer to rely on the blind spot monitoring, lane departure, etc. systems instead of just looking around them before they change lanes. But yeah, that's a rolling pillbox.

Good morning everyone. I'm going to be participating in the B-Fit Challenge next month. This event benefits the 100 Club which supports the families of fallen police and firefighters. My team, a group of military bomb squad technicians would appreciate any help with your donations. We like to have fun and raise money for a good cause so we do quite a few events throughout the year. Check out our page and see what we're all about. Thanks guys!

Don't think that will make it far on the list for a few reasons. Probably between then Rav4 and Crosstrek at this point. I want her to look at the 4Runner, but doesn't want something that big.

The Mrs wanted a smaller SUV when we were first looking for a new vehicle for her. In the end with 1 kid on the way and a giant ass dog the 4Runner made a lot more sense .and after a few weeks she preferred it to small suvs. She really likes sitting up high and being able to see everything. Downside is gas mileage isn't fantastic (around mpg average), but it's a proper body on frame sub with a manual transfer case and all terrains so meh.

The missus wants a Jeep GC but I am trying to get her to at least test drive the 4Runner, and she too is not that interested in a big vehicle like that. I think they are intimidated by them, but once in the seat that could change the whole opinion

My wife used to love driving my old Tacoma and I had mentioned the 4Runner was similar and she said it was fun driving the truck but she wouldn't want to daily. The JGC feels a bit more carlike inside and actually feels bigger to me than the 4Runner inside. They're nice, but as I mentioned with the Cherokee, I wouldn't own one outside warranty without Maxcare. There's simply too much that can, and will go wrong.

They are the same size?! And direct competitors! Am I missing something?

I got the same about my ex wife who was terrified to drive my "huge" Tacoma. The footprint is basically no different than what her Corolla was. Womenz... can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em.
