TWSS 2018 What Did Santa Bring? (Photo thread)

I am THAT guy... I had an office on the common path and people always stopped to visit. I had a candy bowl (started as mints) and at one point I changed it to jellybeans. When Bertie Botts came out, I would just dump a pack in and shake to mix. The flavors were less "experimental" originally, as it came from Harry Potter. I think EarWax was the most exotic. Now it's crazy... There was a point where the store was in low supply overall and I accidentally got a bag of Sugar Free. This normally isn't a problem, but apparently there was an after-hours visitor who helped himself gratuitously... Unbeknownst to me or the "visitor", large quantities of Sugar Free jellybeans can have a loosening effect (think GoLightly). He stopped "scarfing".

 

Ok guys, todays the day, I can feel it...

And if not, tomorrows the day, I can feel it...

 

Thoughts and prayers...

 

I'm truly jelly all you folks that went and sent things as multiple packages, wrapped stuff, did taunting notes, etc. I'm used to the drawing names, assembling a gift and just putting a note in. So my target just got a big box with curated items inside.... and stupidly a note that says Merry Christmas from your TW Secret Santa... and my handle. DOH! There's always next year, right?
On the bright side... the package has arrived at the destination and is out for delivery - I hope it makes someone's Friday!

 

I'm feeling bad enough that I'M ready to send you something..... lol.

 

I always seem to ship straight from Amazon or the manufacturer. It's very impersonal but I get social anxiety even over the web.

 

I feel you brother.
Everyday I close my eyes walking to the door, hoping not to trip on the way, and right before the stairs I open just to see a lonely red door with no brown box friends.

It's nice to be able to get a wrapped gift and a personalized note, but honestly, I can totally understand sending everything in one box or just shipping direct. Those shipping costs really add up.

Yeah.. I wrapped 5-6 small gifts, and had 2 others sent from Amazon. My main box with wrapped goods was $21 just to ship from Vegas to NY. I went over the $25 real quick.

Next year I'll do $4 gift and $21 shipping. Bahaha. Kidding. I actually have a great idea for next year, that I'm holding out and will send someone.

And anyone getting a box from a "vendor" should get excited. Lol. Go big memario.

New rule for next year, no name changes during SS. Having to dig through posts to figure out who someone used to be is a waste of time.

 

I'm spending my day off, doing this... Sometimes I wonder why I do this.
