    HPT/justDSM tuned factory ecu, URD Headers, JFR Y-Pipe/l 3" exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Maggy SC (JFR ported), JFR ported lower intake manifold, 76mm tb, 2.5 pulley, 640cc injectors, CSF Radiator, custom electric fan wit Autocoolguy controller, JFR SC pulley wrap mod
    Standard intake diameter is 76mm at the maf. The stock tb is 65mm and its further restricted by the butterfly.
    Airflow restriction through a tube is a factor of tube diameter and length.

    The 2nd gen 1gr has a larger intake tube and a different maf but I dont think it would work as @loginfailed pointed out about what the ecu.

    What pulley size do you guys think would be needed to be faster than a gen2 raptor? They weigh around 5500 lbs and make 450 hp / 510 tq at the crank.

    Asking for science reasons of course.

    I'm sure some of the guys on here with 2.5 pulley, full exhaust and a dialed in UCON could take the raptor. Especially with the weight advantage. Probably the 2.5 guys on meth, as well.

    2.5 pulley it is.

    Mr raptor says his truck does 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. I’m not sure if it’s 100% credible buttt I think the taco could take it.

    Why does that sound like it would be really easy to do.

    If changing the voltage is all you need to do to correct the airflow and changing the size of the intake diameter then it should be simple right?

    Do you have any pics of your setup? As long as you drop down to 3" before the maf you should be fine. You could step back up after that if you want. You can also try a honeycomb airflow straightener as well to minimize turbulence to the maf. That is my plan if I ever fabricate an intake.

    I've been driving with v2 and seat of the pants, I can't tell any difference from v1. My max MAF on the Torque app dropped from 318 to 311 with v2. OAT temps have been the same.

    I wasn't expecting much because I'm pretty sure the tunes are from a 2.8 pulley. I'm guessing v2 was just static cleanup of v1 tables without any actual vehicle and dyno-tuning. As far as I know, he hasn't provided any specifics on what v2 changes. So far I'm not impressed with v2 and will be going back to TRD tune.

    That sucks, I was hoping OVT was a little bit more legit when it came to tuning. Seems like URD still really only has the only Plug and Play stuff for us these days.

    Don't get me wrong, I think his OVTune 93 file from the handheld is an improvement over the TRD tune on a 2.8 pulley and up. Some guys saw 20hp increase. I would stay on OVTune if I was on a 2.8 or stock pulley.

    It's the smaller pulleys with FPR where the OVTunes lose efficiency IMO.

    I still think the guy is definitely legit with his tuning skills. He hasn't even scratched the surface for our engines.

    Hopefully this year we'll have full tuning software. That's what I'm waiting for.

    Yeah I saw that he said they were devoting 2019 to strictly Toyota. I just posted up in his thread, if he's got a good tune for me I'll give it a shot. Maybe clean up my AFR a little bit and gain me a little power back from switching to 35s. I won't hold my breath and still plan on UCON, but a little something now would be nice.

    If I wasn't chasing this carrot on a stick for a custom tune, I would have UCON by now. But I like the idea of custom tuning the ECU better than the piggyback, so I'm holding out.

    My shit is all stock.
    And what a carrot it truly is. I don't know of anyone that has actually received a functional IOtech setup from OV yet.
    Mine has been bought and paid for for months now. Nothing in my mailbox yet. I've even been given a tracking number. Two weeks ago. Oddly, or perhaps not so oddly, there's been zero movement on that tracking number.
