    Argh!
Morimoto has come out with a set of plug-and-play LED's for my truck, and damn them to hell for making it a design that I actually like. No stupid vajazzle dots or halos; they look pretty clean. I'm not 100% sold on the running lights, but they're much better than 99% of what's out there for aftermarket. Pricey, though. Probably will come down some after a year or three, by which time I should have the truck pretty well paid off and I'll be ready to either start playing with it or trade it

cool lookin' for sure. I've wanted to do the headlight retrofit too but i haven't justified the $1000 for headlights thing to myself yet.

It's only $1000 if you don't do it yourself and also depends on how crazy with parts you want to get. Mine normally was about $450 in parts, but I got it when they had 25% off

Hm, I don't want anything crazy, maybe just a halo ring that is a drl/turn signal. no extra colors or anything like that. I'll look into it, thanks for the heads up! I'll probably try to source some sliders first though.

Same here. I had considered upgrading the headlights when I first bought it, but everything I could find looked like it belonged on a rusty old civic w/a fart can on the back. I settled on a set of upgraded halogens to boost the light output and had figured on eventually upgrading to set of factory projectors like what you get on the upper-end trim packages. But the upgrade for those is nearly $1000 for a good set, with all of the odds and ends you need, and I'm not that crazy about how they look. Now I've got these to drool over even though they're not worth the $$

Mine included everything. I run dual halos with switchbacks in each headlight. I think each halo pair was $70

Thanks! I love the headlights, wish the harness was a little better quality, but super glue fixed most of my issues

Hmmm, my GMC came with LED projectors? IDK why you'd have to buy them???

(Don't mind me, the boss took us all out for holiday lunch, 3 margaritas and 2 shots of Patron deep...)

    Mostly because I spent $31K for a 2500, instead of $45K for a 1500. :notsure:

If I'd opted for a higher-level trim package I could have gotten factory projectors with LED turn signals, but the lowest I could find that sort of trim package in a 2500 for (with similar mileage and vehicle age) was around $40K

Fine, I spent $31k on a 2500 instead of $37k on a 1500. Besides, buying a new 2500 with the trim package that would get me factory projectors would have cost around $50k, which is way more than I'm willing to spend on a vehicle.

Is that with the giant markdown that usually comes with domestic trucks?

Yes and no. In the spring, when I was buying it'd run around $50k.
This time of year they've typically got a bigger markdown to help shift the '18 inventory, and would end up around $47k.
