Could it be because of your battery size? I remember taking a look at it and it’s smaller than stock. It looks like Group 151R, same one I have in my Civic Hybrid. Tiny little thing.

I used scotch tape in absence of cloth or bandaids. Haha.

fill the cut with super glue to close it up. I prefer electrical tape.

Ive always liked these, and they were quite hard to find a set in my area. So when I did come across a set, I wanted to get them refinished the "right" way, no rattle can this time around. These will be on the truck until the day I get rid of it. Hard to believe these are the same wheels coated in plastidip:

 

You reminded me I've got 4 fully baked wheels in my spare room ready for coating. Finding someone to PC had been hard around here. The dudes that had all the prismatic colors wanted $150 per wheel so that's a no go

 

I bought 3 pounds of powder directly from prismatic for $46ish shipped. $80 per wheel to have them blasted, powdered, and cleared. Not bad from what Ive read. And a 10 day turnaround.

I bought the powder myself as I ordered like 10 swatches and I wanted to be damn sure on the color. Prismatic had sooo many variants of silver/grey and online pics dont do anything justice. I eventually narrowed it down to 3, then asked my dad to pick one. Crushed Silver is what he picked, not too shabby imo.

 

I like the idea of no fan as well. And that one is way cheaper than the original one's I had saved. The ones from TRS are nice looking too but $$$.

I was cutting so many rips one day I had to tape my index but still would burn through to the skin. Glad I'm not doing that no mo.
