never read anywhere if this setup will work; stock OR wheels, 255/85’ with 1” spacers on stock suspension?

Does it work with pro wheels? I’ve read pro wheels are offset out 1/2” more than OR wheels. So if it rubs with those I figure it won’t work with the wheels sticking another 1/2” further out.

Would look really good imo if it works.

I don't think it will fit, but I can't prove it. The OR wheels are tucked pretty close in, which is the only reason they can just barely clear 255/85/16s. If you move them out I'm 95% confident that they'll rub.

I've got stock OR wheels, 1.25" spacers, 255/85's, but I'm lifted 2 inches. I did a CMC prior to 255/85's so can't comment on rubbing the frame. I did spacers after 255/85's and got hella rubbing on the rear portions of the front end fender liners while turning/stuffed. After some cutting and liner reshaping that's mostly gone.

If I did the spacers over again I would've gone with 1" spacers. Wasn't sure at the time if the stock studs would protrude through 1" spacers and interfere with the wheel. Found out later that's not the case.

    Hope some of that helps.

Thanks for the input that helps a lot.

Here’s the gap at full lock to the cab mount with the 1” spacers and stock tires, no lift. Kinda hard to tell but that’s about a 2” gap.

No this is a totally stock truck with the stock 265/70’s and 1” wheel spacers.

In the pic you posted....that lip on the bottom of the fender liner will need to be cut back if you run that tire size on spacers. Won't have to cut as much as I did but that's where you'll be rubbing.

Just to give you an idea of how much I had to cut.....

The fender flare has an attaching bolt underneath the body. All material from the bolt hole and forward of it had to be cut out.

Thanks for the info. Is that at ride height it would rub that bad? Doesn’t sound too bad if I don’t have to CMC.

That's while turning over bumps, on angles, off-camber, etc.
