Going to switch over to CCI standard 22LR ammo for suppressed shooting so I am offloading my Federal. Figured I'd offer it here 1st.

1625 round (5 boxes of 325) in an ammo can-$90
8 Federal blue box, 525 rounds $20 each
    1 Federal red box, 550 rounds $22

    No shooting today :(
Loaded up 600 rounds of 9mm. I needed more powder & .223 bullets and I had a Cabelas 10% off coupon.
Went to Cabelas and made my normal walk through of the bargain cave and the gun library.
Saw a 2" S&W 44mag marked down $150. So I looking at it and that coupon in my pants pocket is tapping me on the leg-"Hey remember me?" I'm like "yeah I remember you now shut your dirty whore mouth you stupid MF'in B!!"
I was able to narrowly escape with some 77gr bullets and a pound of powder, PHEW!

Trimmed and chamfered umteen .223 cases. Thank god for caffeine and a power trimmer. Now my right arm is sore, not used to using it for that length of time ;)

I have been meaning to ask here before I attempted to search AFcom for the answer.

What grain defense ammo for a SIG P365?
I know there is a particular weight that performed better in short barrels, I just don’t recall what it is.

I have used these https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1...n-9mm-luger-p-124-grain-jacketed-hollow-point in my Springfield Xd sub compact and they functioned great. I have some American Gunner 124gr +P in there now. Just buy a couple of boxes of some quality stuff and test it out. I like to test 3-4 magazines full before I buy more to use. I also try to shoot the loaded mags after 4-6 months of sitting around just to cycle the mags and get some practice with the hotter +P rounds.

    Nothing to exciting today.
Played with the 10/22. Still doesn't cycle 100% and the mags suck to load even with the fancy loader.
Couldn't shoot the Beretta worth a crap.
Did OK with the CZ-digging that pistol!
Tried this TC in .223 at 100 yards and couldn't hit crap even using a rest. Was hitting right and have the scope cranked all the way left. Maybe it doesn't like federal 55gr?
Have other barrels for it and may try one. One barrel is in .256 which I've never heard of.

I have been using the RCBS auto prime system to load 260 for about 2 years. It has never been 100% smooth operating. When trying to feed a primer they seem to get jammed often. Today I was using the system and had a few jams. Sometimes I could push harder on the handle to get the primer out and sometimes I had to use a small screwdriver to press down on the primer cup spring to get it to release. The last time it happened I got frustrated and hit the feeding handle knob with my hand and the primer went off! It scared our dog and myself but no one was injured. However it did ruin the auto priming system.

RCBS is sending a new system once what I have left is sent back to them. COuldn't send the primer tube as there are live primers stuck in there. Tube was hot as hell after it happened!

Oh what fun it is to...

Pull the scope off and set it to mechanical zero and sight it in again, should help.

I had to google how do do that. Looks doable with a mirror.
Once set back to zero wouldn't I still have to move it quite a bit in the same direction to get POA to match POI?

Stopped at my LGS. They have the Ruger precision rifle in .338. Thing is bad ass!
Asked him how long I'd have to work there to pay it and a Kahales(sp?) scope off. He said a couple months. I considered it ;)
Would be perfect for that 1900 yard spot I found.

Not necassarily, you should never have to crank R/L too much to get a good 100 yard zero. Do you have a laser in order to borescope it. You can get pretty close. Once bore sighted at home than confirm with minor adjustments at 100.

This is an old scope and gun so I dunno.
    No lasers here.

What ever distance the elk is at! Probably could take the 300 out to a mile if my scope adjusts that high! Hoping to get these 210's up around 2800fps
